The 1st of May was a day spent in the field and focused on interactive language for some students, spent among the olive trees of the Baldizzone farm near Sanremo. The owner took us on a very interesting and detailed tour of the olive groves and showed us how olive oil is produced. We had the opportunity to ask questions in both Italian and English about olive cultivation and oil extraction.
Finally, we were warmly welcomed with delicious treats prepared by the owner’s mother, and we had the chance to taste the oil and learn more about Taggiasca olive oil and its properties.
